We are a small team that has spent years unpacking ZIP files, chasing down broken installs, and learning exactly how much a machine quietly tells the world. That background shapes this page. We keep what we collect to a minimum and we do not treat your visit as inventory.
What We Collect
Our server keeps ordinary access logs; these record the requested page, the time, a browser identifier, and an IP address, and they exist mainly so we can spot errors and keep the site running. Comment fields, where a page offers them, store whatever you choose to type; please leave personal details out of them, because a comment is public by nature.
We also run basic, aggregate analytics to see which articles people actually find useful. That data is looked at in batches, not as a dossier on any one reader.
What We Do Not Collect
We do not ask for accounts or passwords. We do not want your payment details. We do not build profiles across other sites, and we do not run advertising trackers that follow you around the web.
Cookies
Cookies here are limited to what keeps the site working, for example remembering a preference or holding a session together. You can clear them in your browser at any time; the pages will still load.
Who Never Gets Your Data
We do not sell data. Not to brokers, not to advertisers, not to anyone who turns up with an offer. If a third party ever handles something on our behalf, it is only to keep the site running, and only for that purpose.
Asking Us to Remove Something
If you want a comment deleted or a log entry tied to you removed, just ask. Tell us the page and what you would like gone; we will confirm once it is done. Our contact page is the place to start, and a real person on the team reads what arrives there.
